The "TRANQUILITY TEAPOT" from the "KILN FIRED"  collection drew inspiration from a Shigaraki-yaki pot I discovered in Ginza,Tokyo showcasing an indescribably gentle and sweet palette. In the realm of ceramics, allowing the glaze to flow naturally under the influence of gravity, with the outcome only revealed after firing, adds a unique beauty.

 In this piece, I aim to capture the beauty of glaze naturally dripping, revealing underlying layers and creating a composition where colours blend organically, expressing the wabi-sabi aesthetic — an art form that embraces the beauty of simplicity and imperfection.
